Meet the team

Elaine Tyler – CEO and Founder

As CEO and Founder of Venatrix. I’m proud we have become London’s No 1 SDR and Sales Talent partner supporting sales leaders of the fastest growing companies in the world; helping them build out their sales teams quickly and effectively.

In 2015 I received investment from James Caan, formers Dragons Den Investor and his recruitment venture firm, Recruitment Entrepreneur. We have consistently been one of the top performing businesses in his portfolio and expect to double headcount and turnover in the next 18 months.

We are passionate about investing in the future of the sales profession in the UK and as such became an exclusive partner to Sales Confidence – the UK’s largest network of SaaS Sales Leaders to launch the UK’s first SDR community.

Interesting fact about me: I’ve been known to drive through snow to win clients! Feel free to ask me about it.

Sophie Allen – Business Development Director

Hi my name is Sophie and I have worked at Venatrix for 3.5 years.

I am originally from Liverpool but grew up in Papua New Guinea and West Africa. I went to Manchester University and studied Drama and once I realised I wasn’t going to make it in Hollywood or the West End, I chose a career in recruitment for the fast-paced nature and earning potential. Fast forward 6-years and I am still in tech sales recruitment and absolutely loving it. I work in the Business Development Team at Venatrix and feel super passionate about winning relationships with exciting companies.

Interesting fact about me: During my University summers I worked in a villa in the South of France that was used as Chery Cole’s ‘Judge’s Houses’ House on The X-Factor.

Alex Tindall – Team Leader

I’m Alex and the Team Leader at Venatrix, having worked here for over 3 years.

I grew up with 3 siblings that helped develop my competitive nature and unnatural ability to always be prepared. I was the smallest in my year at school with big ambitions until a growth-spurt at the late age of 15 qualified me for the rugby team. Since then, my Saturdays have been for Rugby playing in the backs for a multitude of different teams. After graduating from University with a degree in Architectural Technology, I quickly realised that a more dynamic environment in sales would better suit my skill set. Venatrix has been an incredible learning experience and has allowed me to personal travel the world, including two business trips in New York and Boston.

An interesting fact about me: I paid my way through University working as a private butler at Hen Parties.

Tara Jackson – Talent Manager

I’m Tara! I have been part of Team V since June 2018!

After my placement year in Marketing I realised I wanted to work in a fast-paced environment with huge earning potential when I graduated from Oxford Brookes University. I specialise in mentoring candidates through their interview process until they find an opportunity in one of the coolest SAAS companies around. When I’m not doing that, I am often found in the gym or in a rooftop bar!

Interesting fact about me: I won a boxing competition at university in front of 2000 people #QueenOfTheRing

George Bryant – Talent Manager

I’m George and I’ve been a member of Team V since March ‘19

I am a London born Rugby player with a passion for Guinness, Tech & any audiobook recorded by Stephen Fry.

I studied Sports Rehabilitation & Exercise Science at The University of Nottingham and upon leaving set up my own Mental Health start-up called POM Welfare (@POMwelfare) that creates custom care packages to help combat mental illness in University students. I have always had a passion for technology as well as natural born talent for relationship building (and modesty) so naturally a career within Tech recruitment is an environment I find myself loving.

Interesting fact about me: I came 2nd in a competition for Ed Sheeran to play a gig in my living room after spending all day filming myself busking his songs  in Central London with a guitar. (Even more impressive considering I cannot play the guitar)

Natasha McLellan – Talent Manager

Hi I’m Natasha and I’ve worked at Venatrix since April 2019!

I’m London born, Irish raised and have recently returned to the big city to pursue a fast-paced, exciting career in recruitment! Having studied a BA in English and Sociology, and an MA in Criminology at University College Cork, I quickly realised that I wanted something with better earning and progression potential, as well as the opportunity to work with people. After spending 4 years working in cosmetic sales, I understand how sales work and this coupled with my passion for tech naturally led me to Venatrix!

Interesting fact about me: I once placed 5th in the Irish Dancing World Championships!
