What? Sales Development Representative
The Graduate Sales Development Representative is the first part of your sales journey at BrightEdge. You will be targeting brand name clients and speaking to heads of Marketing and Digital. BrightEdge will pay you a basic salary of £26,000 and there are frequent incremental pay rises based on performance. Gary Lenaghan is the Graduate Sales Manager – he ran the Graduate Sales team at IBM and is passionate about turning graduates into successful sales people. He will be there every step of the way and will support you through the tough parts of the role. Gary loves to reward his team, they are constantly being taken out for dinners, lunches and drinks in Covent Garden and he even flew three of his team out to Disney Land in Florida to say Well Done for their performance.
The progression The Graduate Sales Development Representatives are the heartbeat of BrightEdge and the company mentality is to promote from within. BrightEdge would expect you to spend a minimum of one year in this role before being promoted into an Account Executive Positon where you are running your own accounts and clients. Top performing Account Executives have earnt enough money to put deposits down on houses in London after working at BrightEdge for just 2-years post university.

BrightEdge is looking to reward top performers and incentive prizes include an annual trip to Hawaii, dinners and drinks in Central London and frequent lunches. You will be flown out to San Francisco every year for the company sales kick off and you will spend two weeks in San Francisco when you join for training. There is also a fully stocked fridge throughout the week and an alcohol trolley on a Friday.
