A multi-award-winning company that has experienced startling 20-25% year-on-year growth and whose brand-name clients including the NHS, TFL, Eurostar and McVities, Kallidus is seeking to hire a Head of Business Development to build on its success by winning new clients in the enterprise space. This is a fantastic opportunity for a budding Sales superstar to progress into a varied and demanding senior Business Development role, and to make a huge impact in a fast-growth scaleup company.
Report directly to the Principal and manage a small team to generate business development activities for the company driving sales activities and the acquisition of new business.
Expand, develop and maintain new business sales by researching, contacting, and establishing credible appointments to meet new client decision-makers.
Create long-term relationships with key individuals within large blue-chip companies from existing and new market sectors.
As Head of Business Development, you will manage the full Sales cycle: generating new business, closing deals and working with strategic accounts in the enterprise space. In particular, you will:
Work to secure key accounts in the enterprise space.
Use best-in-industry tools to help identify and analyse prospective clients in the market, and turn them into qualified Sales opportunities.
Approach prospective clients using a strategic and consultative approach.
Attend meetings and present the value proposition of Kallidus to key Enterprise accounts.
Work to grow the business by developing the company’s customer-facing activities.
Work alongside the production teams to support with the design and delivery of pitch materials and thinking.

At least three years’ experience in a Sales role.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to understand both business and technical terminology.
A consultative salesperson.
Strong academic record with at least a 2.1 at degree level.
